I earned a Master in Teaching from City University and a Bachelor of Art in Geography from the UW. For over 20 years I have worked with children as a teacher and a caregiver. What I love most about working with children is watching them find joy and wonder in their world. As a child, I enjoyed spending hours outside exploring, riding bikes with friends, and playing games. Now I spend my free time exploring and traveling with my family. I am a member of the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance.
I have been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for nineteen years. Prior to joining The Farmhouse School, I taught preschool and art in both the greater Seattle area and on the West Coast. I currently have an Associates Degree, and am working toward a Bachelors degree in art therapy. My true passion lies in teaching, and I am constantly inspired by the curiosity, authenticity and creativity of children. As a child, I enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking and camping, family vacations at the Oregon Coast and Eastern Washington and playing basketball. Now, I enjoy reading, photography and painting.
Hello! I come from an art background and I have several years experience working with kids, most recently as a nanny for the past few years. I love to spend my free time working on various art projects, and with my family exploring the great outdoors. I live in Snoqualmie with my daughter who will be starting 1st grade this year.
